MUCOM88 Windows Manual

We are proud to publish "MUCOM88" created by Yuzo Koshiro, a legendary game music composer.
Open MUCOM 88 is a project to utilize open source based on MUCOM88 source code of FM synthesis sound driver
 operating on NEC's PC-8801 series.
MUCOM 88 Windows is a system for running MUCOM88 on Windows. Both the command line version and the GUI version are prepared.
"MUCOM88" and "MUCOM88 Windows" released in OBSLive year-end live broadcast in 2018.
The original MUCOM88 disk images are also available at Ancient's site.

はじめに

MUCOM88 Windowsは、NECのパソコンPC-8801シリーズで動作していた、 古代祐三氏によるFM音源のツール/ドライバーである、MUCOM88を Windows上で動作させるためのシステムです。
コマンドライン版、GUI版の両方が用意されています。

MUCOM88 Windowsを使用することにより、音楽記述に特化した言語 MML(Music Macro Language)として記述された音楽を、 PC-8801の音源と同様に演奏させることができます。 また、SCCI(Sound Chip Common Interface)を経由することで 実際のFM音源チップ(YM2608)による演奏をサポートしています。
